Technology Support & Service Requests
RESA HELPS is how you get technology support from St. Clair County RESA. Submit a request, track its progress, and hear back from the IT team — all in one place.
Accounts are provided by St. Clair County RESA for the organizations we serve. There is no public sign-up.
RESA HELPS is the technology-support web application operated by St. Clair County RESA. Authorized staff and customers sign in with their existing work account — Google, Microsoft, or a RESA HELPS email and password. When you sign in with Google, we use your Google account only to verify your identity (your name and email) — RESA HELPS does not access any other Google data.
How it works
RESA HELPS gives the people and organizations served by St. Clair County RESAa single place to request technology help, choose from your organization’s service catalog, and track every request from submission through resolution.
Report an IT problem or ask our technology team for help. Describe the issue, add details or attachments, and your request is routed to the right team automatically.
Choose from your organization's catalog of service requests — equipment, access changes, account setup, and more — with guided forms that capture the right details up front.
See all of your open and past requests in one place, follow each one's status in real time, and read replies from the technology team as they work it.
Get email updates as your request progresses, know the moment it is resolved, and share feedback on how it was handled.
Signing in
RESA HELPS is a restricted system. You sign in with your existing work account — your organization’s Google or Microsoft sign-in, or a RESA HELPS email and password. There is no public self-registration. Accounts are provided by St. Clair County RESA for our own staff and for the school districts, municipalities, colleges, and non-profits we serve.
Privacy & your data
RESA HELPS uses single sign-on only to authenticate you. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, it receives just your name, email address, and basic profile, which it uses to identify you and your requests within the helpdesk. It never accesses your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Microsoft 365 files, or any other data in your account, and it never posts or sends anything on your behalf.
Full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
